SVB Analytics provides a broad array of key analytical services. In addition to business valuations for IRC 409(A)   and Financial Accounting Standards Board Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 505 and 718 (formerly FAS 123R), our services include portfolio analytics for ASC 820 (formerly FAS 157), purchase price allocations for ASC 805 (formerly FAS 141R), goodwill and intangible asset impairment analyses for ASC 350/360 (formerly FAS 142/144), and valuation opinions for estate and gift tax purposes. We have worked extensively with audit firms (including the Big Four) and have successfully defended our work with the SEC.

In addition, SVB Analytics, through the patented, SAS 70 Type II certified CapMx® solution of its eProsper unit, provides an industry-leading, on-demand corporate equity management solution. CapMx replaces complicated spreadsheets and prepares ASC 505 and 718 disclosures for private, venture-backed companies and their law firms.
